About me

I was born in Istanbul, Turkey. I got into science in high school where I took advanced courses in science and mathematics. After highschool I moved to Vancouver, Canada to pursue a degree in Marine Biology. Halfway through my degree, with great inspiration from my grandmother I switched to visual arts where I got a degree from UCFV. I currently reside in Vancouver, BC where I'm majoring in Conceptual Photography at the Emily Carr Institute of Arts + Design.

I am a member of the Mamut Photo family and I shoot with 4x5, and 8x10 cameras. I contact print my negatives on Kodak AZO paper or Ilford Warmtone Fiber paper. I also shoot with Nikon digital SLR cameras and print through Epson large format printers.
